About The Chef
Ryan Schmitt is the Culinary Director at Olive Branch Estates. His love working with seniors started at a early age. At age 15 he worked as a server at West View Acres and later as a cook at Good Samaritan in Waconia. After high school he worked at various warehouse jobs until his culinary journey began in 2004. He received his culinary certificate at Le Cordon Bleu at Brown College in 2006. Upon graduating he worked at numerous local restaurants in the south west metro before becoming the executive chef at School of the Wise 2 in Chanhassen in 2012. In 2015, he became the Culinary Director at Olive Branch Estates.
